”Floor grids" are structural components in aircraft floors. They can be thought of as a load-bearing frame or grid element that supports the cabin floor panels and simultaneously transfers loads (e.g., seats, galleys, passengers) to the fuselage structure. Floor grids typically consist of aluminum profiles or composite materials that are joined together to form a stable grid structure. UAC Europe produces these for the A320 family (short-haul aircraft) as well as for the A350 & A330neo long-haul passenger aircraft.
