New contract with Boeing

to add a another production step (HVOF coating) to the 787 slat tracks at Asco US!

In January 2025, a formal PO was put in by Boeing to add an HVOF coating to the 787 slat tracks at Asco US. The contract is for one year and will be from March 2025 until March 2026.
The operations entail a redesign to a product we already make, the 787 slat tracks. Asco US participated in the testing which was needed to finalize the design change. And now, we will re-machine the slat tracks to a new configuration and apply an HVOF thermal spray to increase wear resistance and therefore extend life.

Later this year, this adaptation will also be incorporated on the production parts for the Boeing commercial components we machine at Asco US.

a new contract with Bombardier!

Asco Canada got the vertical stabilizer canted rib manufacture awarded for the Bombardier Global Express 7500. The first delivery occurred in March 2025.
Asco Canada will make one large component within this contract for the aircraft: 17 inches by 97 inches from an 8 inch aluminum plate. The component will be made on the H25 and the Zimmerman at the site in Vancouver.

The contract is for the duration of 5 years and we’ll make 36 shipsets per year.
