With the support of Montana Aerospace, Asco continues to drive sustainability forward, launching a major solar energy project at its Belgian facilities and achieves ISO 14001 certification across the group.The 940-panel installation will supply 25% of Asco’s electricity needs and cut long-term costs, while the ISO 14001 certification reinforces the company’s commitment to environmental management and responsible operations.These initiatives mark a significant step in strengthening energy independence, ESG performance, and innovation across the aerospace supply chain.

New cooling lubricant at Asco Germany:

a big ESG step forward!

For several years, Asco Germany has been looking into changing the cooling lubricant for their CNC machines.
In 2022, they successfully changed lubricants with a lot of ESG benefits. Since then, the oil hasn’t been changed yet!

The old lubricant could only be used for a (too) short period of time on the machines, which led to a high disposal volume. The manufacturer of the old lubricant also didn’t offer a good service.

The new cooling lubricant, from Master fluid, has a lot of benefits:

It can be used for a longer period of time compared to the previous CNC oil.
It has led to cost reduction because there is less oil to dispose off, and the acquisition cost is much lower.
The manufacturer offers very good service.
It fulfills all customer requirements.
Since using the new lubricant, we can use the tools much longer before they have to be resharpened.
