End of las year 2025, ASCO participated in the closing meeting of a robotisation assessment conducted within the I‑SPOT R&I project, awarded to Alpine Metal Tech (AMT), a sister company within the Montana Tech Components Group.
AMT is a leading international industrial technology provider, specializes in customized high‑tech solutions for the steel, automotive and aerospace sectors, with expertise spanning automated systems, robotics, and laser and camera technologies.
As part of the I‑SPOT initiative, AMT carried out a theoretical development of a fully autonomous robotized assembly drilling cell designed for the Pylon Fairing structure developed in the scope of the project. The final review meeting took place at AMT’s headquarters in Regau, Austria.
During the visit to AMT’s facilities in Regau and Steyr and their production cells at the BMW engine factory in Steyr, ASCO representatives observed the company’s strong capabilities in designing and manufacturing specialized equipment, as well as its advanced automation, robotics and inspection solutions. Discussions also focused on concrete opportunities for future collaboration, aiming to leverage group synergies to enhance productivity, quality and safety.
