Operations Under One Organization

Montana Aerospace is bringing together its operations across the United States and Canada under one unified organization: Montana Aerospace North America. Asco US & Canada will join UAC US within this new organization, creating a unified structure across North America.

The goal is to connect expertise, manufacturing capabilities, and market presence more closely across North America, creating a stronger platform for growth in the aerospace, defense, and space markets.

The new organization will be led by Michael Colt, who will serve as CEO of Montana Aerospace North America. Melissa Lindh, future CFO, will lead the operational transition, while Jérôme Morhet, CEO of the Asco Group, will jointly oversee the strategic transition together with Michael Colt.

A New Chapter for North America

Montana Aerospace is taking an important step in strengthening its presence across North America. By bringing its operations in the United States and Canada together under the new Montana Aerospace North America organization, the company is creating a stronger, more connected business positioned for long-term success.

As part of this transition, Asco US & Canada and UAC US will become one integrated North American organization, combining their expertise, manufacturing capabilities, and experience under one strategic direction.

While the organization will operate as one unified North American business, Asco and UAC will continue to be recognized as strong and well-established brands in the U.S. market.

The new organization will also create additional career development and growth opportunities for employees across Asco US, Asco Canada, and UAC US.

What Does This
Mean for Asco?

Asco US & Canada will transition from the Asco Group and become part of Montana Aerospace North America, where they will join UAC US in building one integrated North American organization.

As part of Montana Aerospace North America, Asco US & Canada, as well as UAC US will operate within a shared leadership structure, common business processes, and a unified strategic direction focused on the North American market. At the same time, the Asco brand will remain an important and well-established presence in the U.S. market.

For the Asco Group, this transition creates greater capacity to focus on its long-term strategic priorities. These include expanding opportunities in the European defense market and further strengthening its manufacturing footprint in Vietnam.

Asco Belgium will remain a key pillar of the Group's global operations and will continue to support Montana Aerospace North America through shared services, expertise, and critical support functions.

UAC US will also become part of Montana Aerospace North America, working alongside Asco US & Canada within one integrated organization led by Michael Colt as CEO and Melissa Lindh as CFO.

By bringing UAC’s strengths together with ASCO’s expertise, we are creating a stronger North American organization with our customers at the center of everything we do. Through closer collaboration, shared capabilities, and increased operational alignment, we will enhance our ability to solve customer challenges, drive innovation, and deliver consistent value across every market we serve. What Happens Next?

Today's announcement marks the start of a carefully planned transition.

Over the coming months, the future organizational structure, common business processes, and implementation roadmap will be developed collaboratively across the organization.

The strategic leadership of the transition will be provided by Michael Colt, CEO of Universal Alloy Corporation US and future CEO of Montana Aerospace North America, together with Jérôme Morhet, CEO of the Asco Group. The day-to-day transition leadership will be led by Melissa Lindh, future CFO of Montana Aerospace North America, who will coordinate the design and implementation of the future organization together with a cross-functional and cross-site team.
