  • The purpose of the app is to ensure that all employees can receive updated directly from Montana Aerospace— especially those who do not have a company email address, smartphone, or laptop. It provides a simple and way for everyone to stay informed, and included in ongoing developments.

  • It’s completely voluntary — but we’d love for you to join. Signal is the easiest way to stay connected and make sure you never miss important updates.

  • No, using the messenger app SIGNAL is completely free. However you need to be connected to the internet in order to download and use it.

  • Yes — if you do not have a work phone number, you can use your private number to join SIGNAL.

  • No, only your username is visible. Your phone number always stays hidden.

  • Everyone who joins a Montana Aerospace SIGNAL group by March 30, 2026 using their first & last name, as well as the two last digits of their employee number will take part in the raffle automatically.

How to Set up Signal

  • You can download the free messenger app SIGNAL from the Apple Store or the Google Play Store.

    The QR codes you need can be found on several printed touchpoints at your location — for example on posters, roll-ups or TV screens. A flyer with a step-by-step instruction is also handed out together with a Montana Aerospace T-shirt

    Once the app is downloaded, set up your profile. Open Signal and enter your username using:

    • your first and last name, and

    • the last two digits of your employee number.

    After your profile is set up, scan the QR code for your respective SIGNAL group – which can also be find on several printed touchpoints. Depending on your location, there may be several groups — simply select the one relevant to you.

    If you can't find the QR codes anywhere ask you colleagues or teamlead for help.

  • If you do not have a smartphone, you unfortunately cannot use SIGNAL— the app only works on smartphones.

    As an alternative, you can stay informed through other official Montana Aerospace channels, such as the online employee magazine Satellite, or the company’s LinkedIn updates, as well as your local town halls meetings.

  • No problem. Simply scan the QR code for your respective group again to rejoin.

  • Yes, all updates will be provided in your local language, so that everyone can understand.

  • No, inside the Montana Aerospace Signal group you can not send messages yourself. You can however react with emojis and take part in polls and surveys.

  • No, important company news will also be shared through other channels like the Satellite blog or LinkedIn as well as local town hall meetings.

    SIGNAL is simply an easy and direct way to receive updates on your phone.

Technical Issues and Support

  • If you encounter any problems, ask your colleagues or teamlead for help. 

  • Yes, a printed step‑by‑step guide is available at your location. You can find them either in break rooms or the cafetería, as well as on the flyer you received together with your Montana Aerospace T-shirt.

  • If you lose your phone or get a new one, simply reinstall SIGNAL on your new device and rejoin the group by scanning the QR code again.
